Key Personnel

Jeremy van Hoff, the managing director is the company founder of Vantrans Container Transport and after 28 years in the industry, has witnessed first-hand all the changes that have taken place in the industry, but at the same he has adapted with the times by adopting relevant practices and methods to best suit the company. Jeremy is passionate about running a professional transport provider which is at the cutting edge of service and performance. 

Andrew is the operations manager and has been with Vantrans for 26 years, and runs the professional transport operation team. Known for his booming voice and passionate approach to getting the job done, he brings a happy personality and an abounding energy to the team. 

Stacey is in administration and came on board with Vantrans straight out of school and now some 12 years later, runs the administration side of the business with efficiency and a minimum of fuss. She is our resident accounts/administration expert, and happy to lend her efficiency to the operations team when they need a hand or a calming influence.

Anthony is a Fleet Controller and has broad transport industry experience from major carriers to smaller transport businesses. Having worked in both transport planning and fleet control with FCL, empty containers and general carting, he brings a highly motivational level of efficiency to optimising truck movements.

Stefan is in training and continues the van Hoff legacy as the next generation slowly integrating into the company. He is currently completing his final year of a Bachelor of Business part time (majoring in Management and HR at Monash University), whilst working as the Transport Planner at Vantrans. Stefan is learning “the ropes” of the business. As well as his primary role in operations, he also provides back up for finance and statistical analysis / reporting.

Darren is the Market Development Manager and is well known in both the transport and shipping industries, having worked for a number of the major players on the shipping side. He has expertise in both the operations and commercial side of the transport industry. He brings a level of flexibility to the team and is able to help us build our business as well help in the day-to-day operations when the need arises. 

Robert has been influential in assisting the company to reinvent itself in the last 10 years, including helping to build a professional focus of repeatable processes and documented standards across the business. Critically, Robert’s work that has supported our growth and helped to change the focus at senior levels to a more strategic approach, rather than being distracted by day-to-day operational issues. This has been achieved by engaging exceptional resources in the operations team, who are able to make things happen without the need for senior management intervention. Robert continues to act as a trusted advisor and confidant to senior management.

Sam is an independent financial accountant and has been the company accountant since the beginning of Vantrans. He has financial and legal compliance expertise which has been instrumental in the company achieving its excellence in compliance and values.
